Janie Franks, Assistant Asset Manager at Blue Field Capital

Janie is an Assistant Asset Manager for Blue Field Capital. She works closely with the property management teams to help ensure the overall success of each property. Janie also assists in investor relations and correspondence and brings a unique and valuable perspective to Blue Field with her creative mindset.

Prior to joining Blue Field, Janie worked on her family’s real estate portfolio, which includes retail and industrial assets within the Intermountain West region.

Janie began her professional career in the fashion industry. Shortly after graduating from the University of Utah, Janie moved to London to pursue fashion merchandising at the London College of Fashion. Janie's entrepreneurial drive led her to co-found a successful fashion representation company in New York City, securing partnerships with top retailers like Saks, Barneys, and Anthropologie. Janie went on to co-found a women’s activewear line and open a retail store in Salt Lake City, which she and her co-founder operated for approximately 10 years.

Janie holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Utah in Exercise and Sports Science. She is also a licensed Realtor in the State of Utah.
